Pricing and Fees

The PTM model is designed around a simple management fee to carry out the daily operations of your therapy program. We do not share in your reimbursements for any payer.

Management Fee:

PTM charges a small flat monthly rate based on your licensed bed count. And no need for concern if your facility is running far below licensed capacity. We work on a pricing formula which takes your last 12 months ADC into account.

Frequently asked questions

1What Are PTM's Fees / Rates?

PTM charges a flat monthly rate per facility, calculated based on licensed beds. The rates are available with a call to our inquiry team. Staffing is migrated to your payroll while PTM continues to oversee 100% of daily workflow. The rate is far less than what you could hire an experienced rehab director to run your highly sensitive and nuanced therapy program.

2Are there additional fees?

No additional fees. PTM offers a transparent fixed rate to perform the vast amount of service items. We are able to offer our service at lower costs as we gain efficiency across multiple locations. 

3Will PTM Indemnify denied claims?

We cannot indemnify you for denied claims - as PTM receives $0 reimbursements or shared revenues from your facility. With that said, we stand behind our assurance processes and documentation practices. All PTM therapy follows a rigorous and well tested documentation process - geared toward producing solid, defensible records.

4Are we responsible for staffing?

No, you don't have to worry about staffing or recruiting. PTM will recruit, hire, train, and oversee each member of your therapy team. You simply process their payroll with the hours and data we provide - and we handle 100% of your department operations.

5Will my facility have a DOR?

PTM utilizes a decade long tested model of the treating Rehab Director. The director is more or less the communicator of the department and is allowed productivity room to attend meetings and conferences for the cohesion of care in the facility.  PTM handles the oversight and does provide a regional director to work weekly (daily if necessary) with the Rehab Director in each location.

6Will PTM assist with Denials and ADRs?

PTM provides a well trained and experienced team of documentation experts. When a denial, ADR, Probe, or letter arrives from any payor, PTM will put the documentation together and assist the facility with assembling the package. Communication channels are provided to help tell the story of care. 

7Will you assist with revenue growth?

Absolutely! PTM has learned that developing caseload and programs is critical in creating the best possible outcomes for each resident on caseload. Whether we employ standard assessment and care items, or we develop a facility specific plan based on your acuity, speciality, or market opportunity -- PTM is with you in the revenue growth journey. 

8How much will I save switching to PTM?

This is a multifaceted question we receive over and over. If you are currently in a shared revenue contract with your therapy provider, we typically see 40 - 45% savings simply by switching to or hybrid in-house model. Some cases are lower while others are higher. 

If you are switching between managed model of therapy providers, it will depend upon the service delivery levels. We often point these questions to the revenue building aspect of PTM. Dollar for dollar, PTM's model may be slightly higher than competitors, but we've employed this model for more than a decade - and have helped many providers lower costs and return revenue back to their operation.
